At Green Hammer, we are setting out to prove that buildings can be a catalyst for change — for conservation, for economic growth and for improved human health. For over a decade, we’ve been designing and constructing buildings that meet the highest green building standards — buildings that conserve more clean water and energy than they consume, are designed to endure generations.

Through our unified design-build process, where both the design and construction teams work side by side and understand the overall goal, we are creating buildings that not only endure, but give back.

Living Building Challenge

The Living Building Challenge™ is a building certification program, advocacy tool and philosophy that defines the most advanced measure of sustainability in today's built environment.

Green Hammer has been engaged with the LBC since it’s inception, and have integrated elements of the LBC into our design-build process. We are one of the few firms that has in-house design and construction experience applying the LBC to projects.

In 2018 we finalized the full LBC certification of Cowhorn Vineyard and Garden a 2,200 SF wine tasting room, which became the 20th Certified Living Building in the world.
