Green Grove Cohousing sits on five rural acres in Forest Grove, Oregon, enjoying a beautiful view of Mt. Hood and in close proximity to forestland. We designed and built three Craftsman-style homes at Green Grove, all of which match both the design aesthetic and environmental values of the community. The ultra energy-efficient homes include traditional farmhouse details and a tasteful blend of modern finishes, fixtures and amenities. All three achieved Net Zero Energy Earth Advantage® certification: they are solar-ready and have excellent southern exposure. The residences have all the standard Green Hammer marks of a superiorly sustainable home: high-quality construction and healthy building materials, airtight super-insulated building envelopes, four-season comfort through high-tech building membranes and multi-point closure triple-pane windows, and site-appropriate amenities and design inspiration.
