Project Description

In partnership with Walsh Construction, Mahlum Architects and Urban Timberworks, we coordinated the detailed finish work to reuse trees felled onsite to enable construction of the new Lewis & Clark dormitory.

The LEED Gold Edna L. Holmes Residence Hall incorporates nearly 75% of the maple and fir trees removed from the site into beautiful, functional wood elements throughout the building, helping to connect the project’s architecture to the landscape it inhabits.
