Before moving to Portland and joining Green Hammer in 2020, Kelly lived in Connecticut where she raised cattle, sheep and occasionally pigs with the help of her trusty English sheep dog, Ziggy. Kelly says she was drawn to work at Green Hammer in part because of the company’s commitment to the triple-bottom-line (people, planet and profits). In her role as Green Hammer’s shop manager, Kelly supports the field team in many ways, including filling tool requests. Her attention to detail helps ensure the field team can continue working without delays. Kelly's job takes her to various field sites, where she gets to see projects at various stages. This experience has helped her learn a lot about Green Hammer’s work as well as the construction industry. 

She has become an invaluable member of the team, always sporting a positive attitude and a willingness to try new things and seize learning opportunities. Kelly says one of her favorite things about working at Green Hammer is the kind and thoughtful nature of her coworkers. She enjoys doing things that make her coworkers' jobs easier. In her free time, Kelly loves to spend time outside with Ziggy, whether it be hiking, mountain biking or snowboarding.
