Julie joined Green Hammer at the start of 2021 as our new human resources and payroll coordinator. As someone who loves numbers and helping people, the job is a perfect fit. She says the people she met when interviewing at Green Hammer made her feel “instantly comfortable”, which is one of the reasons why she was excited about joining our team. Now, in her role as payroll coordinator, she enjoys making other people feel welcome. Being the first point of contact for all new employees is one the things she enjoys most. 

Julie’s experience working in the restaurant and catering business for a number of years helped her gain valuable interpersonal skills. She eventually found her way to the human resources and finance fields, where she has worked for more than 10 years. Julie brings immeasurable experience to her new position at Green Hammer. Her day-to-day consists of helping employees with payroll issues, onboarding new employees and digitizing personnel files. Born and raised in Portland, Julie enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, shopping and crafting.
