With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Chris brings a diverse skill set and high level of professionalism to the Green Hammer design build team. A sixth generation Oregonian, his grandfather built homes in the Southwest Hills and his uncle was a roofer, which is how Chris got his start in the building trades.

He’s worked on all kinds of projects, ranging from historic renovations to new construction and enjoys the day-to-day variety of his job. He was drawn to Green Hammer’s environmental mission as well as the company culture. “People take responsibility for their actions, which is really important to me,” he says. “And I really appreciate being able to talk with the design team and problem solve together.” 

Having grown up on the Oregon coast on a homesteading farm, Chris says he’s always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hunting, surfing and skateboarding, which in his 30s, he did professionally. “It was really exciting to find myself on the same team as all of my heroes.”
