A process-driven leader, Carl is both a numbers guy and a people person—equally comfortable diving into spreadsheets and rolling up his sleeves on the job site. This balanced skill set makes him an ideal fit for the superintendent role, a dynamic position that requires juggling multiple tasks while keeping teams motivated and projects running smoothly. 

With a lifelong career in construction and the guidance of many great mentors, Carl has developed a deep understanding of “how all the layers of the cake fit together.” He was drawn to Green Hammer, where our deep commitment to sustainable building practices and our integrated design build process immediately resonated with him. He is deeply motivated to work for a company that is truly ahead of the curve, and where he's challenged to solve complex problems. 

Coming from a family with deep roots in the construction industry, Carl can’t imagine a career outside the building trades. “It’s a combination of everything I love,” he says. He enjoys working with trade partners, communicating with clients, and collaborating with our design build team, aiming to create a culture of respect while making people feel comfortable. 

When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find Carl fishing, crabbing, or exploring the great outdoors.
