Becky Brun joined Green Hammer in 2013 to serve as our public relations consultant and has since taken on more and more responsibilities. A former journalist and magazine editor, Becky has been covering the green building and clean energy industries for more than 15 years. The owner of Pitchfork Communications, Becky is passionate about uncovering the human stories behind mission-driven companies. Becky believes the most successful organizations are constantly evolving — and their communications strategies should evolve, too. Becky is an innovator and a lifelong learner who brings the latest industry tools, an open mind and critical thinking to everything she does. In addition to serving as Green Hammer's communication director, Becky works with other mission-driven businesses and organizations including New Buildings Institute, Zero Energy Ready Oregon, Cycle Oregon, Alliance for Higher Education in Prison, Weinstein PR and others.  She is a former Hood River City Council member, former chair of the Hood River County Energy Council, and former member of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Leadership Council. When she's not working, Becky is likely exploring the trails near her home in Hood River, where she loves to run and mountain bike.
