Becky is the owner of Pitchfork Communications and has served as Green Hammer’s communications director since 2013. A former journalist and magazine editor, Becky has spent more than 15 years covering the green building and clean energy industries, and she’s passionate about uncovering the human stories behind mission-driven companies. An innovator and lifelong learner, Becky brings the latest industry tools, an open mind and sharp critical thinking to everything she does.
Through Pitchfork Communications, Becky has worked with a range of mission-driven businesses and organizations, including New Buildings Institute, Zero Energy Ready Oregon, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Cycle Oregon, the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison, Weinstein PR, and others, in addition to her ongoing role at Green Hammer. She is a former Hood River City Council member, former chair of the Hood River County Energy Council, and former member of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Leadership Council. When she’s not working, Becky is likely on the trails near her home in Hood River, where she loves to run and mountain bike.
