Tim has been working in the construction industry, specifically historic restoration projects, since the mid 1990s. He’s worked across Oregon and in the Bay Area, and when approaching new projects emphasized green building practices whenever possible. He joined Green Hammer as a superintendent in 2020. He is responsible for driving projects forward and on schedule, fielding questions from staff, clients and trade partners, and helping to ensure projects run smoothly.
Tim is crucial to the success of countless projects, and is known for being extremely detail-oriented and focused. He says ge enjoys working at Green Hammer because he likes learning about new ways of building, such as design building to the Passive House standard. Yet his favorite part of the job is the people. He appreciates working alongside colleagues toward a common goal, and being inclusive and supportive along the way.
Tim’s passion for restoration carries over into his free time, when he enjoys rebuilding and tinkering with old cars. In the fall and winter, you might also catch him on the coast surfing a big swell.
